Social Media and Digital Content Coordinator

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

We are looking for a highly capable Social Media and Digital Content Coordinator to work as part of our operations team on a full-time basis

The role will have a wide scope of responsibilities with the overall view to engage and grow Macarthur FC’s social following working closely with our Group General Manager of Communications & Marketing.

This role will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Deliver and contribute towards our multi-channel content schedule;
  • Plan, produce and publish social and digital content across all channels in line with our strategic vision;
  • Lead production of content for all graphics, video and articles;
  • Lead weekly content planning meetings and communicate outcomes across the business;
  • Research and implement social media trends effectively across our social media channels;
  • Produce copy for all digital channels that works toward increased engagement
  • Report on digital insights across all channels;
  • Working with all departments, including but not limited to Football, Commercial, Community, Membership, Game Day etc; and
  • Actively respond and engage with Members & supporters on our social channels.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

  • Over 2 year’s experience in the Digital and Social Media space with a proven track record of content you have planned and produced
  • Experience in managing digital channels and platforms
  • Experience of developing and delivering content schedules, together with content development
  • Expertise in using systems for CMS & analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks for multiple stakeholders and balancing these priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to write in an engaging and authentic style
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Effective planning and organisational ability, with exceptional time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish and encourage positive connections with internal and external stakeholders
  • A passion for football with a knowledge of A-Leagues
  • Willingness to work outside business hours when required
  • A current Drivers Licence and individual transport
