Another weekend of NSW NPL matches have been played!
The U13s Boys team continued their undefeated streak, walking away with 1 point after a 3 – 3 draw with St George City FA. The U14s and U18s both won their matches against St George City, while the U16s unfortunately lost 0 – 2.
The First Grade Men’s team shared the points with St George City FA at home on Saturday. Both teams had their chances throughout the 90 minutes, but it was Alexander Robinson who proved to be an absolute force in goals, producing some excellent saves to prevent St George City from scoring. The Bulls saw many opportunities, with shots from Ali Auglah just skimming across the face of goal. Both teams were unable to break the deadlock, ending the match with a 0 – 0 draw. The U20s were unfortunately defeated at home after a 0 – 1 loss against St George City.
The Girls had another disappointing weekend, with all teams being defeated by Sydney University SFC. The U15s, U16s and U18s didn’t let Sydney University walk away with clean sheets however, with each team managing to secure two goals.
The First Grade Women’s team secured a point after they drew with Sydney University SFC on Sunday. The Women put up an excellent fight against one of the toughest teams in the competition, with Peta Trimis proved to be an unstoppable force. Sydney University started off strong, securing two goals in the first 10 minutes of the match, but it was Trimis managed to claw back for the Bulls. Trimis started the comeback for the Bulls in the 44th minute, and secured the equaliser in the 53rd minute after she made a fantastic run into the box and managed to put the ball into the back of the net. The Reserves were unfortunately defeated 3 – 0 by Sydney University SFC on Sunday.
