Macarthur FC is proud announce an exciting new partnership with local NPL clubs Camden Tigers and Bankstown United.
The partnership further strengthens Macarthur FC’s already strong relationship with the local grassroot footballing community.
As part of the agreement, both local clubs will benefit from further coaching and development clinics to be held in both Camden and Bankstown LGA’s.
Further to this, both Camden Tigers and Bankstown United will assist Macarthur FC in grassroot talent identification of up and promising youngsters.
Today’s announcement sees the culmination of many months of hard work behind the scenes with all parties.
Camden Tigers and Bankstown United have been big advocates for the club, with both featuring in community pre-season matches in preparation for upcoming A-League season.
Camden Tigers and Bankstown United join Northbridge FC as part of Macarthur FC’s Academy Program.
Bankstown United Deputy Chairman Dimitri Hursalas said this will benefit the local players immensely.
“We have already had a strong relationship with the Bulls, and this further cements our and their commitment to grassroots football in the region.”
“With pathways, coaching development and clinics to be held, the youth in our area will have access to elite coaching and mentoring programs with Macarthur FC.”
Camden Tigers President Rod Ciantar echoed Mr Hursalas sentiments.
“Our club was extremely privileged to play a role with the Macarthur FC in their inaugural pre-season match. This partnership was a natural fit for our club and the perfect opportunity for younger players to experience high quality coaching in our own backyard.
The pathways plan for u/6’s through to seniors for both boys and girls was a key factor, and something we look forward to developing further with Macarthur FC”
