Bulls Leave Tarneit Sharing Points with Western United

The Bulls put up a valiant fight against Western United on a windy Saturday evening in Tarneit, but the match ended in a goalless draw, leaving both teams to share the points.

It was a promising start for the Bulls, with Jed Drew and Jake Hollman returning to the starting lineup after recovering from injuries. The team showed early intent, creating several opportunities in the first half.

Goalkeeper Filip Kurto delivered an outstanding performance, making crucial saves to keep the scores level and deny Western United any chance of finding the back of the net. Kealy Adamson, brimming with confidence after scoring his first A-League goal in the previous match, had one of the best chances of the half.

From outside the box, Adamson unleashed a powerful strike that forced Western United’s goalkeeper into an impressive fingertip save. Jed Drew also came close with a strong effort, but despite these opportunities, the Bulls couldn’t break the deadlock.

In the second half, the Bulls shifted to a more defensive strategy, working tirelessly to shut down Western United’s advances. Kurto continued his stellar performance with more brilliant saves, ensuring the clean sheet remained intact.

Substitutions saw Dean Bosnjak, Daniel De Silva, Tomislav Uskok, and Walter Scott take to the field, adding fresh energy as the Bulls pushed for a late winner. Despite their best efforts and relentless fighting spirit, they were unable to convert their chances in the final minutes.

The match concluded in a goalless draw, with both sides earning a point each for their efforts.
