Thank You, Marin
Macarthur FC can confirm the departure of Golden Boot winner Marin Jakolis, who is set to take the next step in his career with an overseas opportunity.
Jakolis had a stellar 2024/25 season in Bulls colours, netting 13 goals and providing 15 assists across all competitions. His attacking flair, creativity, and consistency saw him take home the Golden Boot at the annual Bulls Medal Night and play a pivotal role in the club’s campaign.
Since joining the Bulls, Jakolis has made a strong impact both on and off the pitch. Whether scoring match-winning goals or engaging with fans at community events, he quickly became a fan favourite and an integral part of the club’s identity.
We are proud that we have played an integral role in Marin’s express desire to go back to play in Europe.
Reflecting on his time at Macarthur, Jakolis expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to play in South West Sydney:
