Macarthur FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Damir Prodanovic as Assistant Coach ahead of the upcoming A-League season.
Prodanovic joins the Bulls with an extensive coaching background across Australian football, bringing valuable experience from both the professional and NPL levels.
The experienced coach will partner Nicolai Muller as assistant coaches alongside Head Coach Mile Sterjovski as the club continues to build towards the new campaign.
His coaching journey has included roles within the A-League Men’s competition and in, 2023, leading the NPL NSW Sutherland Sharks First Grade squad as head coach.
Speaking on his arrival to Macarthur Bulls FC, Prodanovic stated:
“It’s a privilege to be back at Macarthur FC where my coaching journey started. I’m grateful and excited to work with a talented group of players and great staff.”
“I’m looking forward to helping the players develop, and being part of a winning culture.”
When asked on his expectations for the season were, Damir responded:
“My expectation is to assist Mile in creating an elite environment where the players are challenged daily , have the opportunity to improve, and enjoy their football. I am very optimistic about the season ahead and working with Mile.”
“He has set excellent team culture with staff and players and has set very high standards. Maintaining and building on this structure will provide us with a great opportunity to play our football consistently and win football matches.”
