‘An exciting young talent’: Bulls re-sign Australian youth international

Exciting Australian youth international Ali Auglah has sealed his future with the Bulls after signing a two-year contract extension that ties him to the South West Sydney club until the end of the 2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

The 20-year-old winger signed his first full-time contract this week, putting pen to paper on a scholarship deal after impressing Bulls head coach Mile Sterjovski.

“Ali is an exciting young talent. He made an impact as soon as he came into the A-League side and he’s got a very bright future ahead of him,” Sterjovski said.

Since making his club debut on January 28, the former Australian Under-17 international has since featured in every game for Macarthur, whom he will call home for at least the next two A-League seasons.

“It feels good to have my two-year contract with Macarthur,” Auglah said. “I feel like I am kick-starting my career now and now is the time to move forward with hard work and make sure I make the most of every minute I have on the field.”

Raised in South West Sydney, Auglah didn’t hesitate to sign a long-term deal with the Bulls after being promoted to the A-League squad by Sterjovski.

“I chose Macarthur to commit my future to because Mile and the coaching staff believe in me,” Auglah said. “The trust Mile has put into me – and the opportunity he’s given me – can further my career, not only in Australia but overseas as well.”
