Macarthur Bulls FC is excited to announce the signing of Ben Gibson for the 2026/27 season.
The 22-year-old joins the Bulls from Newcastle Jets FC and arrives with strong attacking credentials despite his young age. Gibson played an important role in the Jets’ successful 2025/26 campaign, scoring four goals and helping the club secure the A-League Men Premiership.
Capable of playing across the front line, Gibson has built a reputation as a hardworking and versatile attacker with a keen eye for goal. His pace, movement and ability to create opportunities in the final third make him an exciting addition to Mile Sterjovski’s squad as the Bulls continue to strengthen ahead of the new campaign.
Gibson has also represented Australia at international level, earning selection in the Australian U23s squad. With valuable A-League experience already under his belt and plenty of room for further development, he brings both quality and potential to the Bulls’ attacking unit.
Speaking on his move to Macarthur Bulls FC, Gibson is determined to make an immediate impact.
“It feels unreal to sign with the Bulls and I can’t wait to get started.”
“I’ve been watching the Bulls over the last couple of years and, as a No. 9, I feel like it’s the perfect club for me to be a part of. Their style of football suits me a lot.”
“Bulls fans can expect me to make forward runs and get in behind, take people on, link up with other players and hopefully score some goals and get some assists.”
