The Bulls have continued their investment into its women’s football program with the appointment of Jaime Gomez as head coach of the Bulls FC Academy women’s team for the 2023 National Premier League’s season.

Gomez brings a wealth of experience to the Bulls women’s program. He joins directly from Football NSW where he was the head coach of their NTC team and under-17s. “I am proud to be part of the Bulls FC Academy and thankful for this opportunity,” Gomez said. “I am really excited to help club continue its development of talented players.”

The signing of Gomez is part of the Bulls ambitions to gain entrance into the A-League women’s competition.

“We are proud to be promoted into National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s for the 2023 season. This marks a significant step in the growth of our academy as we build the foundations for what we hope to be an A-League Women’s team,” Macarthur FC chairman Gino Marra said. “We have continued our investment into the Bulls FC Academy with the appointment of Jaime Gomez as the head coach of our Premier League women’s team.”

The Bulls FC women’s team will make their entrance into the NSW NPL1 competition next season, having achieved promotion from the second tier in the 2022 season while competing as Northbridge Bulls.

“Jaime has worked in all areas of football from grassroots to the elite level,” Bulls FC academy director Paul Casamento said. “He has a passion for the women’s game and a desire to develop players to the highest level.”
