Macarthur FC is thrilled to announce the signing of midfielder, Eddie Caspers, on a scholarship deal.
The midfielder has been with Northbridge since he was a junior in his U10s squad and has been at the club since then.
Playing a pivotal role in our academy squad, Caspers has showcased his talents enough so a call up to the A-League Men’s side transpired in the 2021/22 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
The 18-year-old is set to make his A-League debut and is eager to get started.
“Being at the same club for so many years and working towards getting this opportunity has been a goal of mine. To reach that goal is a huge deal for my family, Northbridge, and myself,” said Caspers.
“I go into this challenge knowing there’s a lot of hard work for me to do but I’m focused and ready to push myself and get some minutes in the A-League.
“I’m looking forward to working under the guidance of Dwight Yorke and the senior players on the team and am grateful to be given this opportunity.”
