Bulls Share the Spoils with Wanderers

The Battle of the West: Rep Your Code ended in a stalemate, with the Bulls sharing the points with local rivals Western Sydney Wanderers.

A picturesque evening saw over 7,000 fans fill Campbelltown Sports Stadium for another chapter of this fierce local derby. The Bulls wasted no time asserting themselves, with Callum Talbot delivering a pinpoint cross to Harry Sawyer, who rose highest to head the ball home in just the second minute.

Western Sydney looked to respond, but the Bulls defence stood strong. Sime Grzan and Luke Brattan both threatened from long range but were unable to extend the lead before the break. The Bulls went into half-time with a deserved 1–0 advantage.

The second half saw the tempo slow slightly, though the Bulls continued to create chances. Grzan and Sawyer each came close to doubling the lead, but the Wanderers stayed in the contest. The visitors eventually found an equaliser in the 82nd minute through Anthony Pantazopoulos.

Despite late pressure from the Bulls, the match finished in a 1–1 draw.
