Bulls Triumph Over Brisbane

The Bulls secured another vital three points on Saturday when they defeated Brisbane Roar at Ballymore Stadium in Queensland.

It was a warm afternoon at Ballymore Stadium, and the Bulls were determined to secure the three points against Brisbane Roar. The first half started slowly, with the Bulls choosing to absorb the pressure from Brisbane’s attacks and wait for the perfect chance to strike.

Brisbane opened the scoring in the 13th minute after an uncharacteristic mistake from Kurto allowed Florin Berenguer to tuck it into the back of the net. However, this did not deter the Bulls. A chance from Clayton Lewis, whose shot drew a save from Macklin Freke, ignited the Bulls and led to the equaliser in the 25th minute.

The equaliser came from a beautiful corner from Lewis to the head of defender Tomislav Uskok, who buried it into the back of the net. The Bulls continued to fight throughout the first half, and Raphael secured a second goal for the Bulls in the 42nd minute with a stunning volley, firing the ball straight into the back of the net.

The Bulls entered the second half in the lead, absorbing Brisbane’s pressure and denying them the chance for an equaliser. Kurto made up for his first-half mistake with another brilliant performance, continuously denying Brisbane at every opportunity. Jake Hollman, Ali Auglah, Charles M’Mombwa, and Daniel De Silva all made appearances off the bench, replacing Jed Drew, Raphael, Keayrn Baccus, and Valere Germain.

The Bulls held onto their lead for the remainder of the second half and secured another vital three points, defeating Brisbane Roar 2-1 at Ballymore Stadium.
