Hollman On Top: Jake Hollman claims the Macarthur Medal

Playing a part in the first-ever game for Macarthur FC and being in the squad since the club’s inception Jake Hollman has been an integral part of the Bulls. Four years later, he took out the top prize of the Macarthur FC Medal Night, the Macarthur Medal.

The 2024 Macarthur Medal proved how vital Hollman has become in the Bulls’ squad, with 25 appearances and five goals in his back pocket for the Bulls and 5 international caps for the U23s Olyroos. He has proved his worth on the field and out in the community, engaging in many community Bulls appearances. When asked about the win, Hollman stated “I’m very privileged to win this award, it could’ve gone to many other boys, but I’m very happy.”

“I was very surprised,” Hollman said “I was just sitting at the table and then a couple of the things that the lady said made me think it was me. But I was very surprised.”

When asked about the success of the 2023/24 regular season and the game plan going forward into finals, Hollman expressed his gratitude and his excitement. “It has just been good in terms of being able to play consistently this year. I think I’ve improved a lot, and I can’t wait to keep going into the finals.”

“Thank you to all of the supporters, the members, the coaches, and my teammates, I really appreciate it.”
