Macarthur Bulls FC are proud to announce Liam Rose as Captain of the club’s 2026/27 A-League Men squad.
A familiar face in Bulls history, Rose first joined the club during its inaugural season before returning ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. Since then, he has continued to make his mark, both on and off the pitch.
The 2025/26 season was a memorable one for Rose, scoring his first A-League goal, claiming the Macarthur Medal at the club’s Medal Night and surpassing 140 A-League appearances.
Rose’s commitment to the club extends well beyond match day, with his involvement in the South West Sydney community reflecting the pride he takes in representing the Bulls. His leadership, dedication and connection to the club make him a natural choice to lead the squad into the new season.
Joining Rose in the leadership group as Vice-Captain is Callum Talbot, who will support him as the Bulls prepare for the 2026/27 campaign.
Speaking on his appointment, Rose expressed his pride in taking on the captaincy and representing the Bulls both on and off the pitch.
“It feels amazing and is a massive honour to be named captain of the Bulls.”
“I love this club, the people involved and our fans, so to have the opportunity to lead this team is something I’ll never take for granted.”
Speaking on his appointment, Rose is ready to lead by example, bringing his experience, dedication and passion for the club to the captaincy.
“I’ve learnt a lot along the way, both as a player and as a person and I want to use that experience to help the team in any way I can. I want to be a captain who puts the team first and gives everything for the club.”
“The goal is to have a successful season and compete for trophies. We’ve got a great group of boys and I just want to lead by example, work hard for the team and make sure we’re all pushing in the same direction.”
