Macarthur FC salvaged a point after turning the game against Western United at Campbelltown Stadium.
The Bulls started the game slow with United scoring early in the game, and Filip Kurto prevented a second after making a great diving save.
However, things began to change once The Bulls’ wonder kid – Lachie Rose – was subbed on in the second half. He scored a brilliant goal, which gave Macarthur the momentum to find the equaliser.

“I always knew it would be a difficult one for us, particularly when it’s [been] 36 days since our last A-League fixture, so that was a big concern and it was actually quite humid conditions here tonight,” said Bulls coach Ante Milicic.
“The majority of our squad having COVID during that period as well, it was difficult circumstances for us, but I’m super pleased that the boys ended up getting a point in the end.
“I felt that we were good tonight and we deserved something for the game and most importantly we got minutes back into their legs and now we can focus on the busy schedule that’ll be in front of us.”
