Macarthur Bulls is excited to announce the signing of striker Harrison Sawyer for the upcoming 2024/25 and 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League seasons.
A commanding centre-forward, Sawyer brings his goal-scoring prowess to the Bulls’ attack. Having played for clubs such as Newcastle Jets, Davao Aguilas, Tai Po, Vaasan Palloseura, and South Melbourne FC, Sawyer has consistently demonstrated his ability to find the back of the net. Notably, he scored 16 goals in the NPL Victoria. He played a crucial role in leading South Melbourne to the Australia Cup Quarter Finals, where he scored the decisive goal against A-League side Wellington Phoenix.
With an NPL Victoria Premiers title and a Hong Kong champions trophy to his name, Sawyer is poised to make a significant impact for Macarthur FC. He joins a dynamic attacking unit that already features talents like Valère Germain and Ariath Piol.
Speaking about his signing to the Bulls, the 27-year-old forward shared his excitement:
“It’s a privilege and an honour, I’ve been trying really hard and trying to perform well in the NPL to get a move like this, so it feels like a reward for a lot of hard work.”
“I want to try and win every game that we can, I’ve had a lot of success already this year with South Melbourne in the Victorian league, and I’m always eager to win and score goals.”
“Bulls fans can expect an aggressive and direct striker, I like to do damage in a box and also help the team get forward.”
We are delighted to welcome Harrison Sawyer to the Bulls family and look forward to seeing him in action!
