Macarthur FC Head Coach Ante Milicic has increased the depth of his inaugural playing squad with 20-year old gloveman Nick Suman from Western Sydney Wanderers joining the A-League newcomers.
Hawkesbury junior, Suman, played his club football for Sydney United before joining the WS Wanderers Academy in 2015. He would go onto to become a regular starter in the Wanderers NPL 2 team and part of the clubs Foxtel Y-League Championship side.
Featuring in 5 A-League matches for the Wanderers, the left footer will be guided by plenty of experience with teammate and fellow keeper Adam Federici, and the club’s goalkeeping coach, former NZ All Whites keeper – Glen Moss.
Macarthur FC Head coach Ante Milicic explained the opportunity Suman has, to continue to develop under the club’s goalkeeping coach Glen Moss, and fellow club custodian Adam Federici.
“Nick has a great opportunity to learn from two of the leagues most experienced keepers in Mossy and Federici, with almost 600 topflight matches between them.” Milicic said.
“Nick has the potential to become a great keeper. The process and guidance we provide him with, will be key to unlocking that.” Milicic added.
Nick Suman said joining Macarthur FC was a great privileged.
“I feel very privileged I’ll be able to learn from both Adam and Glen. The experience and knowledge they have and will be able to provide me is phenomenal. I am looking forward to working with them to take my game to the next level.”
