Liam Rose: ‘We’re Building Something Special’

As we celebrate Arthur’s birthday, the Bulls are also gearing up for a huge home match against Wellington Phoenix. Ahead of the game, Bulls player Liam Rose shared his thoughts on the recent win against Newcastle Jets and his return from injury.

“Good to get back out there, more importantly, to get the win. Good to get some minutes in the legs after a couple of games off and just looking to build on that.”

Rose, who was part of the Bulls’ inaugural squad, returned this season after playing in the USL Championship with El Paso Locomotive. He’s excited to be back and believes the club’s future is bright

“We’re building something special here. We’ve got a great group of boys and a strong team. This feels like home to me.”

“Not much has changed in terms of location, but the professionalism of the club keeps growing stronger and stronger.”

Rose also spoke about how good it feels to be home and close to family.

“I grew up in this area, so coming back was an easy decision. I’m really glad I did it. I’ve got a daughter now, and she can grow up close to family.”

Looking ahead to the Wellington Phoenix match, Rose reflected on their recent win in Wellington.

“They’re fresh in our minds… We saw some weaknesses we can hopefully take advantage of. We’ll work on that and look to keep our good form going.”
