NPL NSW Wrap Up

A fantastic win from the U18s Boys capped off the weekend’s action, which saw mixed results from our Bulls FC Academy teams.

The U18s Boys have moved up to third on the ladder after a 1 – 0 win over Hakoah Sydney City East FC. The U14s and U16s secured a point each, sharing the points with Hakoah. Unfortunately, even though they put up a brave fight, the U13s were defeated on Sunday.

The First Grade Men’s team fought hard but were unfortunately defeated by Sydney Olympic over the weekend. The Bulls started off strong with Jed Drew producing a fantastic chance in the 10th minute. In the 33rd minute, the Bulls were able to secure the lead with Jed Drew converting his second chance into a fantastic goal. The Bulls were unable to hold onto their lead for long, with Sydney Olympic equalising only four minutes after Jed Drew’s goal.

This did not slow down the Bulls as they continued to fight but unfortunately Sydney Olympic managed to break down the Bulls defences, securing a second in the 56th minute. In the 71st minute Sydney Olympic were able to slip through the Bulls defences and secure a third, ending the match in a 1 – 3 loss for the Bulls.

The U16s Girls shared the points with Illawarra Stingrays on Sunday after a thrilling 2 – 2 draw. The U14s, U15s and U18s were unfortunately defeated.
