Macarthur Bulls FC is proud to announce that Liam Rose has re-signed with the club until the end of the 2027/28 A-League season.
Since returning to the Bulls ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, Rose has become an integral part of the squad. The midfielder has made over 52 appearances for the club and has established himself as a consistent presence in the starting XI across both the Isuzu UTE A-League and the AFC Champions League Two.
Known for his composure on the ball and work rate in midfield, Rose has played a key role in linking defence and attack, while bringing valuable experience and leadership to the side. His ability to control the tempo of matches and contribute in both defensive and attacking phases has made him an important figure in the Bulls’ midfield.
This season also marked a significant personal milestone for Rose, who scored his first A-League goal, ending a 124-match drought in the competition as well as claiming the 2025/26 Macarthur Medal at the Bulls Medal Night.
Off the field, Rose has also become a fan favourite within the South West Sydney community. The midfielder regularly takes part in community initiatives, grassroots training sessions and club events, strengthening the connection between the team and its supporters.
Speaking on his re-signing, Liam said:
“It feels amazing to re-sign. This club holds a special place in my heart and to be able to continue on is really special.”
“ The decision was quite easy. This club has been a big part of my career and gave me the opportunity to come back home with my family and that is something I’ll be forever grateful for.”
Liam added on:
“I love this club and the people involved in it and am super excited to be continuing on.”
“For myself, I want to give everything I can to the team and play a key role in helping us achieve our goals. As a team it’s to win trophies so we will be striving for that.”
