Macarthur FC is excited to present its new Sony Foundation Australia limited edition third kit for the 2021/22 Isuzu UTE A-League Season.
The team will wear this special one-off playing kit when we take on Melbourne City on Saturday, 26th March.
The collaboration supports Sony Foundation’s aim to improve young Australian’s health and wellbeing through positive experiences and social change in areas underfunded by society.
From every jersey sale, $10 will be donated to the charity.
One of the long-standing initiatives of the Sony Foundation is the Sony Foundation’s Children’s Holiday Camp Program. This is a unique respite program that sees high school and university students take on the responsibility for the care of children with disability over 4 days and nights, allowing their families to have a valuable weekend off.
Sony Camps are provided at no cost to the families and help fill a gap in affordable overnight respite care for children with disability. Hosted at schools and universities around the country, Sony Camps also help to break down the social barriers and stigmas surrounding special-needs individuals and educating school leavers in disability care and respect.
Through this charity campaign, we’re aiming to raise funds this season to enable a Sony Camp in Sydney in 2022.
This collaborative community with Sony Foundation Australia, has the unique ability to create far-reaching long-term solutions that have the strength to change people’s lives and is inspired by Sony’s purpose to use the power of creativity and technology to fill the world with emotion.
The limited-edition jersey will be available to pre-order from today and expected to arrive late January 2022.
