The Captain Stays On

Macarthur FC is delighted to announce the re-signing of Club Captain, Luke Brattan.

Brattan joined the club at the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign and quickly made his mark. He featured in every match of the season and celebrated a major milestone by making his 300th A-League appearance in a Bulls jersey.

Taking over the captaincy following the departure of Valère Germain, Brattan led the team with distinction—most notably captaining the Bulls to victory in the Australia Cup Final against Melbourne Victory, securing the club’s second major trophy.

A commanding presence in midfield, Brattan also delivered two spectacular goals against Adelaide United, further cementing his impact.

Speaking on his re-signing, Brattan shared his excitement for the future:

“It feels great to sign on again after winning the Australia Cup last year. We want to build on that and compete for more trophies.”

“The Bulls is a fantastic club and it’s full of great people. It has a big future ahead that I want to be a part of that.”

“I’m looking forward to playing in Asia again and representing Macarthur abroad. Our expectations for this year is to build on last season and push for every trophy possible.”
