Vickery Backs the Bulls

Macarthur Bulls FC is proud to announce the re-signing of Luke Vickery on a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2027/28 A-League season.

The extension comes after a breakout campaign for Vickery during the 2025/26 season, where he quickly established himself as a key member of Mile Sterjovski’s squad following his arrival at the club.

Featuring in 30 matches across the A-League and AFC Champions League Two, Vickery made an immediate impact in Bulls colours. His attacking threat and work rate saw him contribute seven goals and three assists throughout the campaign, becoming a regular fixture in the starting line-up and playing an important role in the club’s success across multiple competitions.

Off the field, Vickery quickly became a fan favourite within the Bulls community. Whether it was staying behind after matches to greet supporters, sign autographs and take photos, or attending School Holiday Clinics and grassroots training sessions across South West Sydney.

Speaking on his contract extension, Vickery said he was excited to continue his journey with the Bulls:

“It’s really exciting to sign on with the Bulls and help grow as a person on and off the field at such a good club. I’m grateful, and it shows the belief and trust that the coaching staff and club have in me.”

“I’ve loved every moment. I’ve had some really memorable moments on and off the pitch with the team.”

“Personally this year I had a good output for the club but my expectation is to try and improve the numbers each year and help the team win games and trophies. As a team we will always collectively work hard and continue to push and strive to win as many games as possible.”
