Macarthur FC Partner with Australian College of Physical Education

Macarthur FC is proud to announce Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) as the club’s official education partner.

The Partnership between Australia’s oldest private educational provider and Australia’s newest sporting organisation will see increased opportunities for students, staff, athletes, coaches, administrators, and all others involved in football across the region.

For ACPE, the partnership will allow for the co-branding of selected educational programs, opportunities for Work Integrated Learning, and Professional Experience and employability outcomes, for ACPE students.

The partnership for Macarthur FC, will allow for the development and implementation of education and welfare programs across the club and its affiliations, access to accredited programs for athletes, coaches, administrators and staff, and access to the next generation of sports leaders.

Macarthur FC Head of High Performance, Anthony Crea, said is important to focus not just on the elite, but towards the educational benefits of sport.

“The partnership with ACPE is important to not only provide but have access to students studying across various fields including high performance, sports science but also in off field roles such as sports management.

“The in-field experience will be valuable and extremely beneficial for both the club and students.” Crea added.

Debbie Le Roux, ACPE CEO & Dean, welcomed the partnership with Macarthur FC.

ACPE empowers students by providing a transformative, personalised and supportive learning environment that nurtures potential and connects motivated and well-equipped students with careers in the Sport industry.
