It was an action-packed weekend for our NPL NSW Teams!
The Boys Youth Teams matches saw the U13s continue their goal fest, defeating the Blacktown Spartans 8 – 1 for their first home game of the season. The U14s, U15s and U18s had an amazing weekend walking away with clean sheets and plenty of goals. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a clean sweep for the Boys with the U16s losing 0 – 4.
The First Grade Men’s team walked away with a 1 – 1 draw on Saturday, sharing the points with Wollongong Wolves. Just 15 minutes into the game, the Bulls conceded the first goal of the afternoon, after a shot from Macdonald secured the lead for the Wolves. The equaliser came just 14 minutes after the Wolves. Sunday Yona had a beautiful run into the box and managed to slice it through, hitting the back of the net. The second half saw chances from Caspers, Wells and Knez but unfortunately, no one was able to break through the deadlock. The U20’s went down to the Wolves with a 2 – 3 loss at home.
