Macarthur FC is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nicolai Müller as the Head Coach of our Academy Men’s Team.
Müller will lead our First Grade Men’s Team for the 2025 League One Men’s Season, bringing with him a wealth of experience from both his playing and coaching career. He previously played for top German clubs, including Hannover 96, and has experience in the A-League with Western Sydney Wanderers and Central Coast Mariners.
With a background spanning over a decade at elite levels, Müller has a deep understanding of the game, which he has transitioned into his coaching career.
The German international began his coaching journey last year with the Central Coast Mariners’ coaching staff, where he quickly made an impact. After his tenure with the Mariners, Müller is now ready to bring his expertise and fresh perspective to Macarthur FC.
Müller expressed his excitement about this new venture with the Bulls:
“It feels amazing, I think it’s a great opportunity for me and I’m excited and looking forward to the next season.”
Müller continued, “Training is going good. We’ve now had four sessions, and the boys are very motivated and have very good quality.”
When asked how big of a test this new challenge was he stated:
“I don’t see it as a test, I see it as a chance and opportunity. And I’m confident that we will have a good season.”
“With these young boys they all have a dream to be a pro player, and that’s what drives me and what I want to do to develop the boys.” Müller added.
