Bulls Continue Tough Run in Melbourne

It was a disappointing night in Melbourne for the Bulls, who fell to a 4–1 defeat against Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park.

After a much-needed break, the Bulls returned to action looking to secure three points and climb back into the top six as they faced Melbourne Victory on the road.

The Bulls began the match with their familiar approach of absorbing pressure and waiting for the right moment to strike. However, the tactic backfired early when Damien Da Silva unfortunately turned the ball into his own net, handing the opening goal to his former side.

Victory doubled their advantage in the 25th minute through former Bulls midfielder Denis Genreau. The Bulls found a spark in the 37th minute when Luke Vickery unleashed a powerful strike from distance, firing the ball into the back of the net to give the visitors hope.

The Bulls pushed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages of the first half, but were unable to find another breakthrough before the break.

The second half started slowly for the Bulls, with Chris Ikonomidis and Harry Sawyer introduced to add attacking momentum. However, Victory extended their lead in the 62nd minute before adding a fourth just three minutes later.

Despite continuing to fight until the final whistle, the Bulls were unable to close the gap, with the match ending in a disappointing 4–1 result.
