Bulls end the season with draw against rivals

Macarthur FC’s 2021/2022 A-League season ends in a 1-1 draw against their rivals Western Sydney Wanderers at Campbelltown Stadium.

The Wanderers took the lead in 10 minutes after a goal from Jarrod Carluccio after poor defending from James Meredith. The Bulls had several chances to get the equaliser in the first half, but they struggled to find the end product.

The Bulls eventually got their equaliser after a VAR decision awarded the home side a penalty which Tomi Juric converted. Macarthur feared they would end the season in defeat after The Wanderers scored late in the game, but VAR overruled it.
