A thrilling ACL2 Matchday 4 clash saw the Bulls climb to the top of Group E after a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Cong An Ha Noi FC at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
A beautiful Thursday evening set the perfect stage for the showdown, with the Bulls determined to claim first place and strengthen their bid for a knockout stage spot.
The first half showcased the Bulls’ sharp attacking play and disciplined defence. Their efforts paid off in the 20th minute when Luke Vickery linked up brilliantly with Sime Grzan — Vickery threading a precise pass through for Grzan, who unleashed a rocket into the back of the net.
The lead, however, was short-lived. Cong An Ha Noi FC equalised just ten minutes later, but the Bulls refused to be rattled, pressing forward in search of a second goal. The teams went into halftime level at 1–1.
The second half began with the same intensity as the first, as the Bulls continued to push for the breakthrough. Vickery came close again, forcing a sharp save, before Anthony Caceres produced a moment of magic — curling a stunning strike into the top corner in the 75th minute to restore the lead.
The Bulls held firm in the closing stages to secure all three points and move to the top of the Group E table, overtaking Cong An Ha Noi FC and taking a major step toward the knockout rounds.
