The Bulls returned to Campbelltown Sports Stadium in style, sharing the points in a thrilling clash against Brisbane Roar.
The rain cleared just in time for kick-off, setting the stage for an intense contest. The Bulls dominated much of the first half, controlling the midfield and carving out opportunities. Ariath Piol was the standout performer, creating several promising chances, though he couldn’t quite find the back of the net.
Brisbane struck first, with Thomas Waddingham bagging a brace in the 5th and 29th minutes. However, the Bulls were determined to fight back. In the final moments of first-half stoppage time, Kealey Adamson scored his maiden A-League goal with a stunning strike from outside the box, bringing the Bulls back into the contest.
Adamson’s goal sparked a second-half resurgence. With Jake Hollman and Jed Drew returning from injury, the fresh legs gave the team a much-needed boost. Defender Tomislav Uskok levelled the scores in the 50th minute, heading home a well-placed cross.
Brisbane regained the lead following an unfortunate own goal from Dino Arslanagic, but the Bulls didn’t lose their composure. Just 10 minutes after coming on, Daniel De Silva produced a spectacular volley to equalise yet again. Moments later, Jed Drew delivered a pinpoint corner that found Captain Valère Germain, whose powerful header put the Bulls ahead.
With five minutes of stoppage time remaining, the Bulls were determined to hold onto their lead and secure all three points. However, Brisbane found another equaliser after a second own goal, this time from Tomislav Uskok. Despite their best efforts, the Bulls couldn’t reclaim the lead, and the match ended in a dramatic 4-4 draw.
