Bulls share points with Perth Glory

The Bulls earned a point at home, drawing with Perth Glory in a second-half showdown at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

The Bulls mascot Arthur’s Birthday match proved to be entertaining as they shared points with Perth Glory after a late second-half showdown between the two teams.Bulls captain Ulises Davila opened the scoring early by slipping through Perth Glory’s defenses. Valere Germain set up the shot perfectly for Davila, who calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net just nine minutes into the match. The Bulls continued to fight throughout the first half, with a fantastic chance from Raphael Borges Rodrigues narrowly missing the goal.

The Bulls maintained their one-goal lead into the break. The second half started slower compared to the first, but Ulises Davila conducted a masterclass in the Bulls’ midfield throughout the match.

The Bulls persisted in their efforts during the second half, but Perth managed to equalise in the 72nd minute after Mustafa Amini successfully converted a penalty. The equaliser seemed to wake the Bulls out of the lull, as they were awarded a penalty in the 78th minute. Valere Germain took the penalty, burying it into the top left-hand corner of the net. Substitutions were made, with Clayton Lewis, Bernardo Oliveira, Jerry Skotadis, Lachlan Rose, and Joel Bertolissio coming on for Jed Drew, Raphael Borges Rodrigues, Kearyn Baccus, Jake Hollman, and Valere Germain, respectively.

Despite two spectacular chances at goal for Davila, both narrowly missing the mark, the afternoon ended in disappointment for the Bulls as Perth Glory managed to secure a late equaliser in the 93rd minute. The match concluded in a 2-2 draw, with the Bulls walking away with one point, sharing the spoils with Perth Glory.
