Macarthur FC is delighted to announce the signing of A-League Champion Callum Talbot on a multi-year deal.
The fullback arrives with valuable experience, having previously played for Sydney FC and Melbourne City — where he claimed an A-League Championship in the 2024/25 season. He has also represented Australia at the U23 level, captaining the side during the AFC U23 Asian Cup in Qatar.
Talbot adds further depth and energy to the Bulls’ backline, joining Tomislav Uskok and Matthew Jurman. He expressed his excitement for the season ahead:
“It feels unreal to sign for the Bulls,” said Talbot. “I’m really keen to get into training, meet all the boys and coaching staff, and just get started.”
“I feel the Bulls really aligned with my personal goals and what I want to achieve for not only myself but of the club.”
“I really liked the aggressive attacking style of play, that the club produced throughout the season. It was exciting to watch and it’s what I wanted to be apart of.”
Bulls fans can look forward to seeing Talbot making runs up and down the flank — pushing forward in attack and tracking back in defence.
“I’m a hard working fullback who loves to get up and down the flank. I am bringing my experience and the lessons I have learnt from my previous clubs.”
“I want to win. After winning the championship last season I am chasing that feeling once again. I can definitely do that with the Bulls.”
