Bulls Snatch a Point in Vietnam

It was a late-night watch for Bulls fans back home in Australia, but the Bulls managed to snatch a valuable point from Cong An Ha Noi in Vietnam.

The Bulls started strongly, finding creative ways to slip through Cong An Ha Noi’s defence. Chris Ikonomidis had several chances to open the scoring but couldn’t quite convert. The hosts took the lead in the 30th minute.

The Bulls fought hard for an equaliser in the remaining minutes of the half, but an unfortunate injury saw Ikonomidis forced off the pitch, replaced by Dean Bosnjak. Sime Grzan had a good opportunity late in the half but was unable to find the back of the net.

The Bulls went into the break trailing Cong An Ha Noi.

They came out fired up for the second half, continuing to push for the equaliser while Filip Kurto denied Cong An Ha Noi’s efforts to double their lead. Anthony Caceres controlled the midfield with composure, helping the Bulls edge closer to goal. The breakthrough came in the 77th minute, when a beautifully delivered corner found the head of Tomislav Uskok, who made no mistake.

With the scores level, Ji Dong-won and Luke Vickery injected fresh energy into the side. The Bulls kept pressing for a late winner, maintaining the intensity right through to the final whistle.
