Macarthur FC confirms that it has reached an agreement with an European club for the transfer of Jed Drew.
A product of the Bulls FC Academy, Drew has enjoyed a standout season in the A-League, recording eight goals and seven assists in just 13 appearances. Over his time with the Bulls, he has amassed a total of 17 goals and 16 assists, reaching his 50th A-League appearance this season and making 83 appearances in Bulls colours.
Reflecting on his time at the club, Drew shared:
“My time at the Bulls has been unbelievable, I’m so grateful for the club giving me a chance and to give me my debut a couple years back was such a good feeling.”
“My favourite memories would be winning the Australia Cup this year and my first A-League goal against the [Central Coast] Mariners.”
“I would like to thank Sam and Mile for bringing me into the club. Starting in the NPL side a few years back, I really found my enjoyment for the game again that year.”
“Thank you to Anthony [Siciliano] for helping me out when I needed it. It wasn’t the greatest year last year, but the club really made sure I was in a good headspace coming back into the pre-season this year.”
“I think the group of players this season have been the best group we’ve had. I’ve made some friends for life, that’s for sure—especially Valere and Lachie Rose, even though he has left the club.”
Thank you, Jed Drew, for your contributions to the Bulls. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
