Macarthur FC head coach Ante Milicic has signed Young Socceroo Jake Hollman to the Bulls for their inaugural A-League season.
The 19-year-old joins the A-League newcomers after strong outings in the Foxtel Y-League and NPL with Sydney FC.
The promising midfielder most recently had been part of Gary van Egmond’s Young Socceroos training camp in Sydney.
Milicic’s inaugural Bulls squad for the upcoming A-League season continues to take shape with Hollman joining fellow international youth players Aleksandar Susnjar, Milislav Popovic, Denis Genreau and Nick Suman, as well as experienced Socceroos Adam Federici, Mark Milligan, Tommy Oar, Ivan Franjic and English youth international Matt Derbyshire.
Macarthur FC boss, Ante Milicic, said the opportunity to step up to the A-League will benefit him greatly.
“Jake is a young man with the potential to become a quality first team player.
To give him an opportunity to step up from NPL to the A-League, while surrounding him with some of the experienced players in our squad will be very beneficial in his development.” Milicic said.
Hollman was excited for the opportunity to learn from some of the experienced players.
“Being in a full-time professional environment and having the opportunity to learn and grow as a player from the experienced players like Milligan, Derbyshire and Ivan Franjic is something I’m really looking forward to.
“I’m extremely thankful to Ante for providing me the opportunity to join the Bulls. Stepping up into the A-League squad and being part of the clubs inaugural squad is a great honour, and something I’ll always cherish.” Hollman said.
