Macarthur FC can confirm that a member of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s team has tested positive to COVID-19 and is currently in isolation.

The case involves a double-vaccinated person who tested positive to a PCR test on 16 December.

The safety of our players, officials and spectators is our primary concern and we are working closely with A-Leagues and NSW Health to enact league protocol and to limit any potential spread of the virus.

No other member of the club’s playing, coaching, medical and operational staff have presented symptoms, but all have undergone PCR testing and are self-isolating until they present a negative result.

All A-Leagues players and coaching staff in NSW undergo daily screening processes including daily rapid antigen tests, along with PCR tests every 72 hours.
