The Bulls can today confirm midfielder Antonis Martis will remain with the club for the 21/22 A-League season, following an agreement with FC Midtjylland to extend his loan deal.
Featuring in 22 matches for the club across our debut A-League season, Martis will be looking to build on the solid foundations laid last season.
Speaking on remaining with the Bulls, the 20-year-old said he was delighted to continue his footballing journey with the club.
“I’d like to thank Ante, the coaches and the club for showing faith in me. Providing me with this great opportunity to continue to develop my skills is something I’m aiming to repay this season.”
“I learnt a lot from the senior players in the squad last season.”
“I’m looking forward to getting back on the training pitch together with the group, to hopefully go one step further this season.” Martis said.
Head Coach, Ante Milicic said:
“I’m pleased we have been able to keep Antonis at the club for the 21/22 season.”
“Heading overseas at a young age allowed Antonis to gain some valuable footballing experience. Joining our club was the first full season training and playing with the first team for him and you could see as the season went on, he grew in confidence.”
“Last season, when we lost Genreau to National duty and Beñat with injury, Antonis really stepped up for us, to see him continue to develop as a professional should excite Bulls fans.” Milicic added.
