Matthew Jurman Extends With The Bulls

Macarthur FC is pleased to announce that experienced central defender Matthew Jurman has re-signed with the club for the upcoming 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League Men season.

The 35-year-old brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Bulls’ backline and will remain a key figure under Head Coach Mile Sterjovski as the club builds on last season’s campaign.

Jurman, a former Socceroo, joined Macarthur FC in 2023 and has since become a reliable and commanding defensive presence, helping the Bulls achieve their second Australia Cup title.

With over 200 A-League appearances and international experience across Asia, his re-signing is a major boost for the Bulls’ ambitions this season.

When questioned on his extension Jurman said:

“It feels great to re-sign and stay at the club another year. I feel like we have a great squad to try and win things this year.”

“I still love playing the game and feel very privileged to have been able to do so for this long.”

When asked about his expectations for the upcoming season, Jurman responded:

“We’ve got a great group of lads that just want to win as much as possible, building on from our Australia cup success from last season, also in Asia again and want to go further this time around and try to win it.”

“I personally want to help the team with my experience and winning mentality to win trophies.

We look forward to seeing another season with Jurms!

The Bulls are expected to bolster their defensive line even more over the coming days. Stay tuned.
