Our First Grade Women’s team’s victory over Sydney University SFC caps off the Bulls FC Academy action for the weekend.

Aideen Keane broke the deadlock for the Bulls after a handball from a Sydney University defender granted the Bulls a penalty. Aideen Keane stood up to the challenge and calmly slotted the ball into the bottom right-hand corner, scoring her first goal since returning from her ACL injury.

Trudy Simmons shone throughout the match, especially after pulling off a fantastic penalty save to secure the clean sheet for the Bulls. The second half saw many chances for the Bulls to double their lead, but they were unable to capitalise, ending the match in a nail-biting 1-0 victory.
