South Korean International: Ji Dong-won Joins!

Macarthur Bulls FC is proud to announce the signing of South Korean striker Ji Dong-won for the upcoming 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

Dong-won joins the Bulls with an impressive résumé, having made over 100 appearances in the top tier of Korean football. He has also played in the Bundesliga for several clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, and had a brief stint with Sunderland FC in the English Premier League.

On the international stage, Dong-won has represented South Korea on numerous occasions, including at the 2012 London Olympic Games, where he helped secure a bronze medal.

Dong-won brings added firepower to the Bulls’ attack, joining forces with Harry Sawyer and Chris Ikonomidis. His signing is a key step as we prepare for the AFC Champions League Two and the upcoming A-League season.

Speaking on his signing, Ji Dong-Won said:

“I want to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to play here, I’m excited to play with the team.”

“I love Australia, it has a good lifestyle and good football with strong young players. This is a good last challenge for my career.”

“I have played in Europe so I will bring my experience to help the young players in this team.”
