“WE’RE VERY CONFIDENT WITH WHAT WE BRING AS A TEAM” JAKE HOLLMAN SPEAKS AHEAD OF NEWCASTLE JETS CLASH

The Bulls return to Campbelltown Sports Stadium for the first time in the new year, just days after a New Year’s Day edition of the Battle of the West against Western Sydney Wanderers at Commbank Stadium. Jake Hollman discussed the team’s plans to bounce back after three consecutive losses and the team’s confidence going into Friday night’s match against Newcastle Jets.

The past three matches for the Bulls have been tough, but the team is ready to bounce back and get back to their winning ways against the Jets. Jake Hollman spoke about the team’s morale and thought process after a devastating loss at Commbank Stadium against local rivals Western Sydney Wanderers. “It was very disappointing. We were very aware of what the Wanderers were planning to do, and we didn’t counteract.”

“So, we’re looking forward to bouncing back and putting the gameplay into plan against Newcastle.”

Hollman also commented on injuries to two key players. Matthew Millar, who injured his quad tendon on the day before the Wanderers game and will be sidelined for more than 12 weeks, and Daniel De Silva, who tore his hamstring in the away match against Perth Glory and is expected to be sidelined for 8-12 weeks. “It’s super unfortunate for both the team and those individuals. They’re both great boys, great players.”

“The boys that are fit will be concentrating on what we can do best to keep the team winning while they are away.”

During the Wanderers match, Hollman scored the only goal for the Bulls, and it was an absolute screamer from outside the box. When asked about the goal, Hollman commented on the goal, saying “It was one of those where everything just worked perfectly. There wasn’t much on, so I decided to shoot, and it came off the boot lovely.”

Looking forward to the home match against Newcastle Jets, Hollman says the team is ready to come back better than ever. “We’re very confident with what we bring as a team and individuals, and we’re very confident we’ll get back to winning ways, and I think after January you’ll see us up close to the top.”
