Macarthur FC delivers its community programs in collaboration with its key partners including the Macarthur Football Association, Southern Districts Football Association, Bankstown Amateur Football Association, Highlands Soccer Association and Southern Tablelands Football Association, who collectively represent more than 120 clubs and 40,000 players.
We work collaboratively with Campbelltown City Council and other Sydney South West councils, businesses, community groups, and tertiary educators with the vision to build a harmonious community through the world game.
Macarthur FC is committed to delivering incentives that address health and wellness, community cohesion and Indigenous programs.
THE STATS THAT MATTER
- South-west Sydney is home to a large proportion of all humanitarian entrants and refugees to NSW. 43% of our population was born overseas, compared with 34% for the rest of NSW.
- In 2018, data showed that 43% of children aged 5-11 in south-west Sydney are either overweight or obese
- South-west Sydney is one of the most diverse areas of Australia, with 38% of the community speaking a language other than English at home. In some suburbs, this figure is up to 90%
- 1 in 6 Australian women has experienced physical or sexual violence by her current or former partner
