Ulises Dávila

Ulises Dávila began his professional football career in 2009 for the Primera Division club Guadalajara. Dávila also featured in five matches in the Copa Libertadores tournament.

In 2011, Dávila had signed for English club Chelsea, making him the first Mexican to sign with Chelsea. Later that year, he went on loan to Dutch football club Vitesse Arnhem. In July 2012, CE Sabadell announced that Dávila  will join them on loan and he scored his first goal later that year against former club Guadalajara.

In 2013, Dávila secured a season-long loan at Córdoba CF of the Spanish Segunda División. He scored an equaliser in injury time away to UD Las Palmas in the second leg of the play-off final, earning Córdoba’s promotion to La Liga for the first time in 42 years.

In late 2015, Santos Laguna had secured Dávila on a three-year contract, which he then went onto the Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos in 2018.

In 2019, Dávila moved to Australia and joined A-League side Wellington Phoenix. Dávila secured a 4th goal in 6 starts with a goal from outside the box against Brisbane Roar on 23 November 2019. Dávila finished the season with 12 goals and five assists, winning the Johnny Warren Medal along with Miloš Ninković.

In 2021, Dávila made the move to Sydney joining newcomers Macarthur FC. He was later announced at the club’s captain for the 2021/22 A-League Men Season.
